A free exhibition telling the story of Manx Artist Edward Ashton Cannell.

Edward Ashton Cannell was born in Port Erin and brought up in the South of the Island. Ashton studied at the Douglas School of Art, being influenced by the work of Archibald Knox. He taught art in both the UK and the Island. Although not an exhibition of his paintings, his story and examples of his work give an insight into this talented, almost forgotten Manxman. The exhibition runs from 9th September through to the 31st October 2025 and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Don't miss our last exhibition of the season.
